Kate Star completed 5 years of education for her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. She attended Finger Lakes College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in NY. Then transferred to California to further her comprehension of classical Chinese medicinal training, at Emperor’s College and Dongguk University Los Angeles. She completed internships at each university, at Veterans Affairs, as well as an externship at the USC Student Health Center.

Post graduate work includes training with Master Jia Yu in Moorpark, CA. Katie Star learned his family lineage’s acupuncture theory, a powerful treatment style dating back to 1492 (and earlier) especially beneficial for pain relief.
